Claire Boussagol, former President, Europe of APCO Worldwide and CEO of Politico Europe, is joining EURACTIV as Managing Director. Claire’s appointment completes the new three-person executive team heading EURACTIV, with René Moerland, Publisher & Chair, and Emmanuel Naert, Subscriptions Director.
EURACTIV’s renewed ambition is to be the leading media on EU policies and politics, in Brussels and across Europe’s capitals. René Moerland will be taking the EURACTIV newsroom to the next level, bringing with him his experience as, among others, the editor-in-chief of the leading Dutch daily NRC. Claire Boussagol will bring her extensive knowledge of the Brussels Bubble to ensure that, as EURACTIV develops, it continues to cater for the strong core of its primary audiences.
